Setting up a new business in this current economic climate is probably not the wisest of choices but, as the green shoots of Spring begin to appear on our bare Winter trees, the small seed of an idea, about setting up a rural business, is now beginning to flourish in this tranquil part of England.
As I look out at the new life in my garden the birds are already starting to think about making nests and they are always hungry.
My local friendly Robin, who I have named Rufus, has been for food four times this morning. Meanwhile the crows are cawing in the 150 year old Oak tree nearby.
The hum of a Bumble Bee floating by on the gentle breeze is like a Spring song.
Wherever you are - welcome to life in the ancient New Forest.
